In 2007, Danitza and Esteban Villanueva began publishing what has become Southern California’s most-revered and most-loved magazine that focuses on the people and organizations that make our region a better place. Giving Back Magazine focuses on business, philanthropy and community. One of the sections in the magazine that is always highly anticipated by readers is the “Escapadita” – or travel report.

The trips featured on the pages of the magazine range from weekend getaways and vacations for the Southern California region, to nationwide exploration of cities, National Parks and resorts, to international expeditions visiting every corner of the globe.

Danitza and Esteban’s inspiration in choosing travel destinations is to seek out and share unique destinations and experiences that their readers will enjoy. Danitza adds, “I always enjoy sharing our travels because with proper planning, any destination is possible!”

For years, their adventures have inspired many to follow in their footsteps and explore meaningful travel experiences. We started our adventure with a visit to the iconic sites of the city including Tower Bridge – the iconic bridge often mistaken as the London Bridge and the London Eye, the world’s largest cantilevered observation wheel. We followed along to Buckingham Palace, the Royal Residence in London The British Museum, home to over 2 million year of history.
