Heidi Degan believes that, when it comes to travel, the best experiences can come from getting comfortable with getting out of your comfort zone. After taking a trip to 11 countries in 11 months as a young adult (with only a backpack in tow!), her eyes were opened to new cultures and experiences in a way she never thought possible. She was hooked!

She loves to help others explore new destinations – sometimes ones they’ve never even heard of – to expand their worldview and enrich their life. Some of her favorite travels include hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru, dining lakeside with hippos in Malawi, making pasta and pesto from scratch in Italy and visiting the Taj Mahal in India.

Heidi is a former non-profit manager who is committed to giving back to the places to which she visits and sends clients. She has been fortunate to experience things like running a summer camp for blind adults in South Africa and spending time at a Haitian orphanage following the 2010 earthquake. She is now married with a two-year old and is looking forward to traversing the world as a family and instilling the value of philanthropy in her daughter.
