Jeanine Mak finds joy in working with families to create lifelong memories. As an educator and also a small business owner, she works with homeschoolers in the San Diego area. Jeanine brings years of researching and organizing educational field trips to our repertoire of talents at BTA. She spends her weekends exploring the great outdoors with her family and friends, which always culminates around a table brimming with homemade dishes. Food, folk, and fun is her motto wherever she goes.
Jeanine is a Certified Specialist for Backroads, Japan, Fiji, and Vancouver–not to mention a California expert. Traveling to Hong Kong and Singapore in her 20’s gave her a love for Asia that she loves to share with her clients. She can’t wait for you to taste the endless flavors of Asia: night markets, unique food experiences, immense history of ancient cultures, food, and more food. Some of her upcoming trips include Vancouver, Indonesia, and Switzerland, mixed with road trips and campouts throughout the states.
